Jaime Robles

Jaime Robles

Hola!  My name is Jaime Robles and I graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering degree. Being born and raised in the United States-Mexico border (Rio Grande Valley) has given me the opportunity to explore the interesting world of cultural diversity.  I am a strong advocate of the educational growth of the Hispanic community.   I worked on The NanoKids Project as the 'official translator' from 2003 - 2006.  This project has helped me use my talents in ways that facilitate my personal improvement and also that of my community.

I am now employed by the Fluor Engineering Corporation as an Associate Engineer.  We're working on a multi-billion dollar project that gives me plenty of opportunity to use and build on what I learned at Rice.

And now I will leave you with a quote:  "Bear in mind that the wonderful things you learn in your schools are the work of many generations.  All this is put in your hands as your inheritance in order that you may receive it, honor it, add to it, and one day faithfully hand it on to your children".  - Albert Einstein
