Chemistry in Four Buildings

As one of the largest departments on campus, Chemistry faculty members are dispersed in four buildings within short walking distance of each other. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the department, the varied locations allow the faculty to be nearer to researchers in other departments with which they may be collaborating.

If you plan to visit a faculty member, note whether they are located in the Space Science Building, Dell Butcher Hall, George R. Brown Building or M.D. Anderson Biology Lab, and consult the Rice Campus Map.
