Arboretum Collection
The Rice campus contains approximately 4200 trees and shrubs, representing 88 species of woody plants. Of these, the arboretum collection consists of 100 specimens of woody plants.

Library Collections
The library is currently assembling a special collection for the Lowrey Arboretum. Charles Tapley has donated a woodcut to the collection.
