IBB NIH Biotech Retreat

IBB held its 7th Annual IBB NIH Biotechnology Training Program Retreat and Poster Session in July 2009. Click here for photos. This year's poster winners are:

  • 1st Place IBB NIH Biotech Poster Winner - Christy Franco, for her poster entitled "Biomimetic, Poly(ethylene glycol)-based Scaffolds for Investigating and Directing Neural Stem Cell Behavior." Franco is a graduate student in the Department of Bioengineering and works in Dr. West's laboratory.
  • 2nd Place IBB NIH Biotech Poster Winner - Todd Mollan, for his poster entitled "The Role of Alpha-Hemoglobin Stabilizing Protein in Redox Chemistry, Denaturation, and Hemoglobin Assembly." Mollan is a graduate student in the Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology and works in Dr. Olson's laboratory.
