The last two volumes will cover Davis' post-war travels, business affairs, public speaking, and the preparation of his memoirs. As the "Lost Cause" gained momentum, Davis becamse a leading voice, consulted by influential southerners on a wide range of topics, from Gettysburg to prohibition. Volume 13 is currently in the works and is scheduled to be published in 2010.
