Admittance to Sessions and Social Events
All participants must have a badge for entry to all technical sessions and social events. Some events also require tickets, which are located in the Registration Packets. Full and Student participant registrations include the Welcome to Houston Reception on Sunday evening, attendance in all technical sessions, Conference Banquet at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and morning and afternoon refreshment breaks. The Accompanying person fee includes a Monday morning continental breakfast and orientation, the Welcome Reception and Conference Banquet.

Conference Meals and Area Restaurants
The Hilton Americas-Houston has restaurants that provide varied menus. Food Court concession stands with a variety of hot and cold items will also be available for participants at the George R. Brown Convention Center during the noon hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. As Wednesday afternoon is free time, minimal lunch service will be provided in this area.
An Area Restaurant Sheet containing restaurants and eateries will be available in the Registration Packet, and there are many restaurants within walking distance.
Travel to Houston
Houston is served by two major airports, with direct flights from most domestic and major international airports. Taxi, express shuttle, and METRO bus service are provided to downtown from both facilities.
George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

IAH, located 23 miles north of the city, is a major international and domestic facility providing non-stop service to 152 cities around the world.
William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)

Hobby Airport is located 12 miles south of downtown and principally serves major U.S. cities. Taxi, shuttle bus, and local bus services are available to and from the downtown area.
Transportation To/From Houston Airports
Taxi Service:
Taxi service is available from both airports to the Downtown area. Fares range from $18 from Hobby Airport to $33.50-$73.50 from IAH, and passengers can share to lessen cost. IAH is approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour away, depending upon traffic.
Express Shuttle Service:
Super Shuttle (713-523-8888; www.supershuttle.com) offers discounted one-way fares to conference participants from IAH ($20-$24) and Hobby Airport ($14 -18 for door to door service).

METRO Bus Service:
METRO, the city bus service, has routes to and from the downtown area. Current fare from IAH is $1.00-$1.50. The buses run from 5AM-midnight and can be found on the south side of Terminal C. The schedule for IAH Express-102 at the time of this writing can be found here.
The bus from Hobby Airport, with current fare of $1.00, leaves from Curb zone 8A, which is located just outside the doors from the baggage claim on the lower level. The schedule for Hobby Airport-88 at the time of this writing can be found here.
