Recent Patent Applications
The recent appointment of Nila Devi Bhakuni as Director of Technology Transfer at Rice University is significantly facilitating the review and processing of potential intellectual property that is associated with research conducted by Institute faculty. We view this as an important activity for the Institute, allowing a more aggressive approach and facilitating development of ideas that might not be pursued if interactions were only at the University level.
