The John S. Dunn, GCC for Chemical Genomics (GCC CG) was organized in 2003 to reduce the duplication of effort and to expand high throughput screening capabilities among Gulf Coast institution research laboratories. The GCC CG is a research consortium that brings together scientists interested in this area of research with the aim of developing an inter-institutional academic drug discovery program. The goals of the GCC CG are basic research, translational research, and education.
