BioHouston:
BioHouston is a non-profit organization of the region’s major research, healthcare and higher education institutions, local government and economic development entities, life science and biotech companies, and venture capital firms. BioHouston’s core activities fall into three complementary categories: increase access to early-stage capital; support and encourage entrepreneurship among regional cluster participants or potential participants; and provide support for the life science community, with the aim of building a vibrant life science economic cluster.
Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship:
The Rice Alliance supports entrepreneurs and early-stage technology ventures in Houston and Texas through education, collaboration, and research. Since inception in late 1999, the Rice Alliance has assisted in the launch over 150 technology companies that have raised over $100 million in funding.
