In March 2003 the Smalley Institute developed a new affiliates program called NanoFANS (Friends Advancing Nano Science/Technology). NanoFANS was designed to keep those individuals or corporations that are interested in nanotechnology at the forefront of information.

Conrad Masterson, founder and president of Nanotechnology Foundation of Texas, was the first member to join NanoFANS. Since NanoFANS got under way corporations, individuals, and high school students have all joined. Memberships for adults start at $100, but K-12 students can join for $10 per year.

All NanoFANS members will receive a membership card, advance notice of seminars, scientific meetings, and Smalley Institute events. Upper-level members get additional benefits such as free parking at events and the opportunity to sponsor events.

If you are interested in becoming a NanoFANS member please click here for more information and the registration form you can use to join.

We want and need your support!
