How to Pay
Surface Lots:
BY CREDIT CARD ONLY
Machines at the entrance gates will instruct the driver to insert a credit card (American Express, VISA, MasterCard or Discover). When the gate opens, the computer’s “parking meter” begins. Upon leaving, the visitor drives to the exit gate and inserts the same credit card. It is very important to use the same credit card used at entry while exiting, otherwise the computer will not recognize the card. The gate will open in approximately 2 seconds, at which time the meter stops. The computer calculates the time, briefly shows the amount, and automatically bills the credit card.
Please note: Only one car may enter per credit card.
Central Campus Garage:
BY CREDIT CARD OR CASH
At the garage entrance, the driver pulls an entry ticket from the machine to open the gate. The visitor is instructed to park on the first floor (B1) and carry the entry ticket with them when they exit the car. When ready to leave, the visitor stops at the “pay-on-foot” machine near the elevators. As instructed by the machine, the visitor inserts the ticket into the machine and is shown the amount owed. The visitor may then pay with cash (coins or paper currency) or credit card. The machine issues an exit ticket. The visitor then drives to the exit gate, inserts the exit ticket, and the gate opens.

Please note: When entry tickets are used (the first option in the Central Campus Garage) multiple tickets may be paid sequentially, using a single credit card. When entering the garage by inserting a credit card (option two) only one car may enter per credit card.
