Contract Parking

Where Students Park

Degree program students acquire places in North College Lot, South College lot or Baker College Lot through college jacks. Depending on their status, students may buy contract parking in one of the following lots: Resident Lot, West Commuter Lots, South Stadium Lot, Greenbriar Lot or (provided space is available in these faculty/staff lots) North Lot and the Central Campus Garage (lower level- B2).  Only one vehicle may be permitted per student.

Degree program students may park in their lot during weekdays and in specified additional faculty/staff lots after hours, on weekends and on the 12 or 13 University holidays. Please note that University holidays are different than the 108 weekdays students have as academic days-off, breaks or holidays. Specifically, the following are not University holidays:

O-Week

Fall Break

Dead- weeks

Finals weeks

Winter recess

Spring break

Summer break

and other days classes are not taught.

Degree program students who have paid for campus contract parking may use North Lot (after 4 PM), and the Allen Center section of Lovett Lot (after 5:30 PM) on normal workdays, on weekends and on University holidays.  Student vehicles must be out of faculty/staff parking lots by 7:30 AM , Monday through Friday (except on University staff holidays) and out of Lovett Lot (Cohen House and Lovett Hall sections) by 10 AM on Saturday and Sunday.

College lots are limited to college lot decals 24/7 during the academic year, with the exception of recognized all-University holidays.

College lots are used for summer programs when others may be assigned there by hang-tags or decals.

Degree program students with contract parking will be provided one proximity card to enter their assigned lot and other lots as indicated above.  Proximity cards cannot be shared.  They must only be used by the person whom it is assigned to.  Misuse will warrant a $100 fine.

Summer School and other non-degree program students and guests may have assigned parking at set fees specified for their program. Frequently, the Summer School students/ teachers, Continuing Studies students and guests are provided a magnetic strip access card which is inserted in the readers, like a magnetic strip credit card, for access to the West Commuter Lots 2, 4, 5.

In addition to this short summary above the Traffic & Parking Regulations also apply.
