Where Faculty and Staff Park
Subject to space availability, faculty and staff may contract a maximum of two vehicles in the following lots:
In the Central Campus Garage (B2, lower level)
In the Bioscience Research Collaborative Garage (B2, or lower levels)
In premium lots : Facilities and Engineering Lot, Biology/Geology Lot, Campanile Lot , Lovett Lot, North Lot and Keck Lot. Please note that there is a small section of Lovett Lot parking outside the gated area and near the Cohen House and sundial that is dedicated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to Lovett lot decals and handicapped parking only.These spaces are marked.
In Close-in lots: Alice Pratt Brown Lot, Greenbriar Annex and Hess Court Lot.
In West Lots 2, 4, 5
In South Stadium Lot
In Greenbriar Lot
Faculty and staff assigned to the Central Campus Garage and premium lots have prox-card access to Hess Court Lot when using the gym. Those whose contract to BRC Garage additional receive the North Lot. They also have a back-up lot (Alice Pratt Brown Lot) for times when they find their lot full, undergoing major maintenance or commandeered for special university functions or uses. Those with contract parking in close-in lots may use West commuter lots for overflow. Commuter lot decal- holders may use the Greenbriar Lot when their lots are full or otherwise unavailable.
Traditionally, there are waiting lists maintained by the Parking Registration Office for the most sought-after parking facilities. Faculty and staff may add their names to waiting lists when their first choice is full. When space becomes available, parking staff will notify the next person(s) on the list. Students may be invited into North Lot or the Central Campus Garage after faculty/staff waiting lists have been exhausted.
Faculty and staff who live or work in the colleges may contract for North College Lot, South College Lot or the student half of Baker College Lot when a college gives up a space to make room for them. They will pay a premium contract fee.
Faculty and staff who have paid for campus contract parking may also use North Lot( after 4 PM), and Lovett Lot (after 5:30 PM) on normal workdays, on weekends and on University holidays. All paid parkers have rights to Greenbriar Lot anytime.
Faculty and staff with contract parking will be provided one proximity card to enter their assigned lot and other lots as indicated above.
