Welcome To Employee Relations
Employee Relations offers assistance in a variety of ways including employee recognition, policy development and interpretation, and all types of problem solving and dispute resolution. We serve as a resource for all employees in both supervisory and non-supervisory roles by assisting in resolving issues such as: managing a difficult situation, providing information and support based on Rice policy and practice, and assisting individuals when considering the best course of action for their specific situation.
If you wish to discuss an issue with Employee Relations, confidentiality will be maintained to the extent possible. Some issues may require further investigation, such as harassment issues, unlawful behavior, issues critical to Rice operations, etc. In such cases, information will only be shared with other individuals on a need-to-know basis.
