Delivery of pediatric health Information to remote or underdeveloped regions
SatelLife, With fourteen years of experience in the delivery of pediatric health information, SatelLife is perhaps the best-known member of the Global Health Information Network. SatelLife has made use of a variety of technologies for the delivery of information and attempts to adapt evolving technologies to the area of need. Currently they are exploiting handheld computers as a delivery mechanism.
Medical Missions for Children

The International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP): The INASP mission is to "enhance the flow of scientific information within and between countries, especially those with less developed systems of publication and dissemination." It was established in 1992 by the International Council for Science (ICSU), as a program of the Committee for the Dissemination of Scientific Information (CDSI). An important component is INASP-Health available at http://www.inasp.info/health/. In providing health information services, strong emphasis is placed on the reliability and relevance of the information.
